    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - MARCH 1916 MRS. JOHN URQUHART The community of Waugh's River and the Presbyterian congregation of Tatamagouche have sustained a great loss in the passing away of Mrs. John URQUHART, who died on March 12th after a few weeks' illness. She was one whom every one respected and admitted and concerning whom no one could ever find fault. Her qualities of mind and of heart were of the noblest kind and she always employed them for the very highest interest of life - in the home, the church, the community. She long filled a place of commanding influence and her presence and counsel will be greatly missed, though her sweet and enobling influence will long remain. She was 72 years of age. In her immediate family she is survived by her husband, two sons and three daughters. The daughters are Mrs. W.A. MATHESON and Mrs. John W. SUTHERLAND, both of New Westminister, B.C. The sons are Ian of Alaska, James of Seattle and M. Luther of Truro. The funeral on Wednesday afternoon March 14th was conducted by Rev. Wm FORBES, minister of the congregation of which she was long a faithful member. There was a very large Gathering, all desirous of showing their respect for a good woman and their sympathy for the bereaved. The floral tributes from many loved ones and friends were numerous and exceptionally beautiful sweet and fitting symbols of her fragrant memory.
