OBIT # 5231 - EASTERN CHRONICLE - APRIL 1939 MRS.ANGUS MacVICAR There passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs.DONALD S. DEWAR, Mrs. ISABEL SUTHERLAND MacVICAR of Egerton in her ninety-third year. She was a native of Egerton but moved with her family to Providence,R.I. forty-five years ago and had lived there ever since. Her quiet, kindly disposition and exemplary Christian character endeared her to all her friends, which was made manifest by the many and beautiful floral offerings. Her favorite hymns, "Abide With Me"and "When It's Good Night down Here It's Good Morning Up There" were beautifully rendered by the male quartette. The services at the home were conducted by the Rev.M. Reilly assisted at the grave by the Rev.Harold Wilson, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Providence, R.I. She leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter and two sons, Mrs.Donald S.Dewar (MAUD), WILLIAM S., ALLAN C., and seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Interment in the North Burial Ground, Providence, R.I.
