OBIT # 5185 - EASTERN CHRONICLE - JANUARY 15, 1948: Word was received by relatives here of the death of WILLIAM FULTON REID, at his home in Lynnwood, California, on Dec.29th, 1947. Mr.Reid was a son of the late JAMES REID and his wife JERUSHA HINGLEY of French River. He left French River when a young man and went to California where he has since resided. He prospered in the land of his adoption and has been retired for past thirty years. He made several trips back to his boyhood home to visit his relatives. Had he lived until February he would have been ninety years of age. He is survived by his wife, the former, CATHERINE FISHER, of New Town, Guys.Co., and by nieces and nephews and cousins in Pictou County.
