Terry Raye Clooney 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, January 29, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Terry Raye Clooney, 43, Hubbards, died January 27, 2000, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Raymond and Joyce (Harnish) Clooney. Terry worked for the N.S.L.C. at Hubbards and most recently in Tantallon. He was known by many of his friends as TC and was an avid sportsman, playing goalie for the Hubbards Old Timer hockey team and for many years he played short stop for the Fox Point Scotties slow pitch ball team. Terry will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and a much loved friend of many. Surviving are his wife, the former Rosslyne Corkum; daughter, Sheena; son, Adam, both at home; also two special ladies in his life, his mother-in-law, Sylvia Corkum, Chester; step-mother, Joyce Clooney, Mill Cove; stepbrothers, Bill (Pam), British Columbia; George (Sandy), Lunenburg; David, Hubbards; Gary, Winnipeg; Donald (Peggy), Lunenburg; Kevin, East River; stepsisters, Sharon (Mrs. Barry Levy), Liverpool; Cathy (Mrs. Paul Hughs), Blockhouse. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral Monday at 2 p.m. from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Hubbards, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Terry to Chester Minor Hockey Association or a charity of your choice.
