Kenneth Irving Zinck 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Wednesday, January 19, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Kenneth Irving Zinck, 65, Hammonds Plains Road, Bedford, passed away January 18, 2000, in the Health Science Centre, QEII. Born December 13, 1934 in Halifax, he was a son of the late Irving and Frances (Kehoe) zinck. Ken was employed with Owen Davis Trucking for 40 years as well as Giles and Goodall Trucking. He was a loving father and a good friend to many. He is survived by daughters, Mary Frances Zinck and Christina Louise Zinck, both of Squamish, B.C.; sisters, Cynthia (Randy) Francis, Mount Uniacke; Marie Archibald, Halifax. He was predceceased by his wife, Christina; brother, Leo. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, Bedford. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday in St. Ignatius Church, Bedford, Rev. David MacDonald officiating. Spring burial will take place at a later date in Brookside Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
