UNKNOWN PAPER - DECEMBER 1902 JOANNA MURRAY - On Christmas night, at Tatamagouche Mountain, there passed away the loving and respect wife of Angus MURRAY. Her maiden name was Joanna McLEAN, of Waugh's River. As a girl, she was loved by all who knew her. Some 13 years ago she married Angus MURRAY, and they had their home at Tatamagouche Mountain. They had a family of five, four boys and the youngest, a little girl of two and a half years. Mrs. MURRAY was a firm believer in Christian work. She took a very great interest in training her children for Sabbath school work. During the last few hours on earth she was troubled about her children, especially her little girl. The little one was very robust, and never known to be sick before; when Wednesday she complained of being sick, and on New Year's night she passed to the "Great Beyond," about the same hour her mother had passed away the previous week. This added more grief to the sorrowing husband and children. The little one had spoken quite frequently about her mother during the week and expected her back. Mrs. Murray leaves an aged mother and three sisters, all to mourn the loss of a loving daughter and sister.
