Jeanette Christine Robar 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, February 24, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Jeanette Christine Robar, 57, Harmony, Queens County, passed away peacefully in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on February 22, 2000. Born at Harmony, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Oickle) Mansfield. She was a member of the North Queens Fire Association Ladies Auxiliary and an avid gardener. She loved her family, flowers, bingo, penny auctions, and going fishing. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Norman; sons, Douglas (Ellen), Westfield; Brian (Janette), Harmony Mills; four grandchildren who she loved with all her heart, Tiffany, Blair, Christopher, and April; sisters, Rita (Laurie) Croft and Kaye (Bill) Fancy, St. Catharines, Ontario. She was predeceased by her sisters, Vivian (Croft) Barry, Freda Mailman, Noreen MacDonald, and Betty in infancy; brothers, Carlton, Murray, Basil, and Randolf. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, in Calvary Baptist Church, South Brookfield ,Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Burial in Harmony Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the North Queens Fire Association.
