OBIT # 5420 - EVENING NEWS - 14 DECEMBER 1981 Little Harbour- MRS. ALICE MAY RIPPEY, 82, of Little Harbour, died Sunday in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late WILLIAM and MAUDE (Hamilton) SULIS. Surviving are four daughters, JEAN, New Glasgow; MARION (Mrs. H.T. McQuade), Toronto; JOYCE (Mrs. F. Jewers), Dartmouth; GLADYS (Mrs. H. Newkirk), Little Harbour; two sons, JAMES, Windsor; SAM, Newmarket, Ont; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, GLADYS and MYRTLE (Mrs. W. McLean) both of Digby; DAISY (Mrs. Charles Myers), Saint John, NB; MILDRED (Mrs. F.A. Mansfield) Florida; two brothers, EDWIN, Digby; ROY, British Columbia. She was predeceased by her husband JAMES.The remains are resting in Robert L. Hall Funeral Home, Granville Ferry, where funeral will be held. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
