Leo W. Silver 1985 Halifax Chronicle Herald Handwritten date: May 27, 1985 Leo Wilfrid Silver, 84, of West Northfield, died Monday in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born at West Northfield, he was a son of the late Leonard and Esther (Crouse) Silver. He was a retired section man with CNR. He is survived by a brother, Edgar, Hammonds Plains; three sisters, Leda, New Germnay; Hope (Mrs. Earl Green), Liverpool; and Grace, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Helen Turner; two sisters, Gladys and Wilma; a brother, Reginald. The body is in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
