Clara Janetta Baker 1998 Halifax Chronicle Herald Clara Janetta Baker, 87, Kingston, died peacefully with her family present, April 8, 1998, in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born at Walden, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Ozem and Ruby A. (Carver) Carver. She was a member of Tremont United Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Robert and wife Laurine, Greenwood; brothers, Kenneth, Lunenburg; Maynard and Harry, New Germany; Russell, New Brunswick; Gardner, Bridgewater; sisters, Mrs. Myrna Mossman, Lunenburg; Mabel (Mrs. Raymond Sheridan), West Paradise; grandchildren, Shelley Baker, Toronto; Kimberly Adsett, Kingston; great-grandchild, Cody Adsett; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Hiram. The body is resting at Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, from where visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Pastor Randall Read officiating. Interment will be in Kingston United Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Grand View Manor or Kingston and District Volunteer Fire Department.
