    3. Mrs. Lee P. Bibeau Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Merna Bibeau, 72, of 415 Pleasant Street, Worcester, died Saturday, September 25, in City Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born at New Germany, a daughter of the late William H. and Cecelia L. (Crandall) Jean, and lived in Worcester 25 years. She served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War I and was a member of the National American Red Cross Nursing Service of Washington, D.C. Mrs. Bibeau was a member of the State Registered Nurses Association; a graduate of Mass. State Infirmary Class of 1916 ,and was once night supervisor at the old Belmont Street Contagious Disease Hospital in Worcester. She was also a member of Post 5, A.L.; the Rebekah Lodge of Odd Fellows, and Chestnut Street Congregational Church. She leaves her husband, Lee P. Bibeau; a son, Howard E. Bibeau of Westboro; three brothers, Walter Jean of Haverhill; Ivan Jean of New York State; James Jean of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia; a sister, Mrs. Olive Varnum, of Southboro; a grandson and several nieces and nephews. Military funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Graham Funeral Home, 838 Main street, Rev. John R. Crowe of Chestnut Street Congregational Church officiating. Burial in Hope Cemetery.
