Mary Geneva Swim 2009 Halifax Chonicle Herald Published: Tuesday, July 7, 2009. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Mary Geneva Swim (Nickerson)- After a short but courageous battle with cance, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2009, in her 81st. year. She is survived by brother, Lovit Nickerson of C.S.I. She was predeceased by husband, Paul; daughter, Paulette Mary Atwood and son, Christopher Michael. Beloved mother of Terrance Bruce of Toronto and Jacqueline (Andreas Jamnicz), of North West Harbour. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Martin Atwood of The Hawk; Michael (Suzy) Atwood of Barrington; Andreas (Christine) Jamnicz of Toronto; and Jason Jamnicz of North West Harbour. Proud great-grandmother of Dillon, Jullian, Noah, Ocean, and Sailor. A special great-grandmother to Charlotte and Colin. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Following her wishes, cremation and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Should family or friends so desire, donations to The Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
