Uriah Rafuse 1912 Progress Enterprise Petite Riviere News April 10, 1912. The sudden death of Uriah Rafuse of Crousetown has saddened the community. Mr. Rafuse was in excellent health until Sunday morning last, when he was stricken down and consultations of his physicians developed the fact that he was suffering from hemorrhage of the brain. He died on Tuesday night without having regained consciousness, leaving a widow and large family to mourn their loss.The stricken family has the sincerest sympathy of the commuity in their sudden bereavement. The funeral which was held on Friday was a large one and was taken in charge by Ocean Spray Lodge, M.U., of which the deceased was a valued member.
