Born at Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Edith (Woodsworth) Smith. She was the acting president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Liverpool Fire Department and had been a member for 25 years. Surviving are daughter, Wanda Cheung, Liverpool; son, Darren, Liverpool; seven grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Jollimore, British Columbia; Jeannie King, England; brothers, Lester, James "Little Jim", Liverpool. She was predeceased by her husband, Bazil; sisters, Grace Clattenburg, Helen Henry; brothers, Donnie, James "Big Jim". Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral 11 a.m. Friday, both in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, Rev. Karen Lynch officiating. Burial will be in the Zion United Church Cemetery on Payzant Street, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations to the family.
