James Harris Eisnor 1956 Bridgewater Bulletin A wave of sadness passed over the little community of Stanburne when it learned of the passing of James Harris Eisnor, at his home Sunday, November 11th, in his 69th year. Although in failing health for some time, his passing came as a shock to his family and friends. He was the oldest son of the late Ezrom Eisnor and Permilla (Raimey) Eisnor. He leaves to mourn four sisters, Grace (Mrs. Leland Burns), Barss Corners; Idella (Mrs. Lawson Wile), Hemford; Irene (Mrs. Gabriel Whynott), New Germany; Nellie, at home; two brothers, Guy, Dayspring; Willard, Barss Corners. Funeral service was held in the United Church at Barss Corners, Wednesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Frank Locke, Barss Corners. Hymns sung were "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "Sun of My Soul." Interment was in the Indian Brook Cemetery. Pall bearers were Alfred Jodrey, William Whynott, Joseph and Pearlie Slauenwhite.
