UNKNOWN PAPER - 8 JANUARY 1948 ANNA BELLE MACIVER WILSON - The death occurred 22 November 1947 of Anna Belle MacIVER WILSON, wife of Robert C. WILSON at her home in Denmark, N.S., at the age of 79. Her passing came as a severe shock to her family and her large circle of friends, following a brief illness. Mrs. Wilson had many friends and relatives, particularly in Cape Breton, where she was born. She was born at Little Narrows, Victoria County the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman MacIVER. She spent a good part of her life in U.S.A., where she was married, moving back to Nova Scotia 43 years ago. Surviving, besides her husband are a daughter Christine (Mrs. Frank CURRIE) Sydney, N.S., a son Robert MacIVER, Denmark, N.S., two sisters, Mrs. Duncan MacINNES and Mrs. Peter MacDONALD, Sydney, two brothers, Norman at Little Narrows, N.S., and Dan of Ontario. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the family residence. Rev. Mr. SALTER officiating. The pallbearers were Hedley WILSON, Ted WILSON, Seldon SWAN, Kasson SWAN, George COCK and Alvin LANGILLE. Music was under the direction of Mrs. J. Kasson SWAN. Her remains was laid to rest in the family plot in the Forest Hill Cemetery at Denmark.
