Captain Wallace Joseph Dominix 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Monday, November 21, 2005. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Captain Wallace Joseph "Buddy" Dominix, 68, Hamm's Hill, Blockhouse, passed away peacefully, at home, November 17, 2005. Born at Lunenburg, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Smith) Dominix. Buddy was a retired fishing captain who had spent more than 40 years of his life going to sea. Surviving are his wife, Edna (Ralph-Bezanson) Dominix; daughter, Pamela (Kendall) Crouse; sons, Ron (Lisa); Kurt (Judy); stepdaughters,Brenda (Blane) Knickle; Debbie (Neil) Silver; stepson, Wayne Bezanson; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He will be especially missed by long-time friend, Wayne Oxner; Cassie, his devoted dog. No visiting by request. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, Father Ian Wissler officiating. Family flowers only please.
