OBIT # 5430 - EVENING NEWS, NEW GLASGOW, NS- THURSDAY 5 AUGUST 1982 Munroe Avenue Extension- HERBERT KITCHENER TUPPER, 72, of Munroe Avenue Extension, died Tuesday in the Victoria General Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late DANIEL and MARGARET (Lowe) TUPPER. He lived on Westville Road most of his life before moving to Munroe Ave. Ext., a few years ago. He was a millwright with Hawker-Siddeley Canada Ltd., Trenton Car Works until retiring. He was active in the Pictou East Progressive Conservative Association and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow. Surviving besides his wife, the former HAZEL HARTLING, are a daughter, MURIEL, Dartmouth; and a sister, MRS. ISABEL MacDONALD, Westville Road. He was predeceased by two brothers, JOHN and WESLEY, and two sisters, SARAH and HELEN. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
