OBIT # 5484 - EASTERN CHRONICLE - 8 JANUARY 1942 MRS.CATHERINE FRASER, LORNE - The sudden death of an aged lady occured Tuesday afternoon, when MRS. CATHERINE FRASER passed away at her home, Lorne, Pictou County. Mrs. Fraserwas in her eighties and was comparatively smart and active for her advanced years. She was born at Elgin, Pictou County, and her maiden name was CATHERINE DUNBAR. She has made her home in Lorne, where she was a highly esteemed resident of that community. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church and her pastor, Rev.H. Huestin, will officiate at her funeral service. Her husband CHARLES FRASER predeceased her many years ago. A daughter, MRS. ROBERT GRANT, New Glasgow, and a son J. ROBERT FRASER, in the United States, and one sister, MRS.D.M. CAMERON, Elgin, are the survivors. In her immediate family, MRS.MURRAY MUIRHEAD, Westville, is a niece of the deceased.
