Fannie Ellenor Millett 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, February 18, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Fannie Ellenor Millett, 85, Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg, and formerly of Robinson's Corner, Chester, died Tuesday, February 15, 2000, in the home. Born in Shubenacadie, she was a daughter of the late Edwin L. and Rachael (McInnis) Zinck. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Butler Branch 44, Ladies Auxiliary, Chester; a member of St. Stephen's Anglican Church and Ladies Guild; the Chester Basin Over 40 Club. For many years she opened her home to boarding private workman and children from Bonny Lea Farm. She was also an active volunteer at Bonny Lea Farm for several years. She is survived by daughters, Betty (Mrs. Elroy Creaser), Lunenburg; Joyce (Mrs. Chester Bond), East Chester; Gail (Mrs. Ben Heisler), Dartmouth; sisters, Rachael DeBaie, Truro; Lillian Harvey, Parrsboro; Alice Sheridan, South Maitland, Hants County; brothers, James, Halifax, Fred, Windsor Road; Henry William "Peter", Napean, Ontario; grandchildren, Mary Lee Pinkney, Blair and Marlin Creaser, Shannon Sethuram, Ben, Trevor, and Shelley Heisler; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellis Roy; brothers, George, Arthur, Jack. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, Chester, Rev. Sean Taylor officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Bonny Lea Farm, Harbour View Haven, or a charity of one's choice.
