Born at River Head, he was a son of the late Howard Sr. and Mary Alice (Worthen) Atwood. Surviving are sons, Wayne, Ricky, Jason, Port Latour; daughters, Darlene Blades, Ontario; Laurie Atwood, New Minas; Dawn Atwood, Brooklyn; Brenda Atwood, Clark's Harbour; brothers, Eldridge, Vacil, Oak Park; Curtis, Carleton, James, British Columbia; George Wood's Harbour; Walter, Shag Harbour; Benjamin, River Head; Lindsay, Doctor's Cove; sisters, Mary Hopkins, Oak Park; Judy Nickerson, River Head; Elaine Stewart, Shelburne; Linda Nickerson, Karen Kenney, Clark's Harbour; Kathleen Atwood, Barrington Passage; five grandchildren; one great-grandson. He was predeceased by daughter, Nancy Rose; one granddaughter. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, Tuesday and Wednesday fuenral 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev.Edwin Allen officiating, all in H.
