OBIT # 5505 - EASTERN CHRONICLE - 13 JANUARY 1942: Trenton: The funeral service of the late MRS. ROGENA NEIMA, held yesterday afternoon in St.John the Baptist Church, was very largely attended by sorrowing friends and neighbours. The body was conveyed from her home at 7th Street, Trenton, at 1:45 pm Sunday to the Church, where the funeral service was conducted by Rev. D. R. Chisholm, P.P., at 2 pm. Interment was in the St. John's Cemetery and pall bearers were her three sons, J. GEORGE, of Fargo, North Dakota; MICHAEL, of New Glasgow; and LEO, of Antigonish and her grandson, DAVID of New Glasgow. Her daughter, Mrs.L .J. ALTEEN and her husband, were here for the funeral service. Mr. Alteen returning from Newfoundland where he had been on a visit. A highly respected woman in Trenton, where she had lived the past twenty-five years. Mrs. Neima had lived a good life and had made many friends by her kindly way of living. Her passing, even at the advanced age of eighty years, came as a distinct shock to all who knew her and bearing tribute to the esteem in which the deceased was held, were the large number of flowers and messages of sympathy which came in from this and other districts in the province.
