Joseph Edward Wade 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, January 9, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Joseph Edward Wade, 78, Yarmouth, died Friday, January 5, 2001, in Yarmouth Regional Health Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late William J. and Rachel F. (Locke) Wade. He is survived by his son, Paul L. and daughter-in-law, Janine of St. Joseph; and his sister, Lillian of Dartmouth. He was predeceased by his wife, Gwendolyn C. (Reid); sons, Paul D. and Peter D.; sisters, dolly and Gladys; brothers, James, Harry, John, Robert, and Bernard. In respect of the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation and cremation is taking palce under the direction of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth, from where the funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Yarmouth Hospital Charitable Foundation, Yarmouth.
