Creighton Leroy Fralick 2009 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, July 7, 2009. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Creighton Leroy Fralick, 77, Stonehurst, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, with his daughters by his side in South Shore Regional H, Bridgewater, after a brief illness. Born at Stonehurst, he was a son of the late Guy and Marion (Tanner) Fralick. In his earlier years he had been self-employed as a fish peddlar. He was later employed with National Sea Products as a fishmeal operator for 35 years, retiring at the age of 60. In his retirement, Creighton was more content to go inshore and lobster fishing with his neighbour Daryll Tanner. He enjoyed maintaining his home, playing card games, listening to Newfoundland music, and spending time with friends and family. He was especially proud of the accomplishments of his four grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He is survived by daughters Dianne (John) Mulock,Bridgewater; Debbie (Ronnie) Boyd, Antigonish; grandchildren, Jonathan Mulock, Dartmouth; Heather Mulock(Terri Pitts), Vancouver; Dr. Matthew Boyd (Laura MacLean) Ottawa; Adam Boyd, Antigonish. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred; sister, Barbara; brother, Leonard. A quiet, fun-loving gentleman, selfless, kind, and considerate of others whose active life was cut far too short. He will be very much missed by all who knew him. The family is especially thankful to Christine Tanner who was a good friend and neighbour to Dad. We are also grateful to Dr. Anthony Atkinson and the 4th. floor nursing staff of South Shore Regional Hospital for all the care and compassion they provided to Creighton.
