Doris Francis Davis 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, February 25, 2005. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Doris Francis Davis, 77, Jordan Ferry, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005, in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point. Born at Port L'Herbert, she was a daughter of the late John Edgar and Grace Dawson (Decker) MacDonald. She is survived by her husband, Roy, Roseway Manor, Sandy Point; son, Roderick John David, Jordan Bay; daughter, Margo Lorraine Swim, Barrington; brother, Leslie MacDonald, Port Joli; sisters, Meta Swim (Clifton), Port Mouton; Florena Newell, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Michael, Tanya, Lorraine, and Stephanie. She was predeceased by son, Roy Alan Davis; brothers, Jasper,Leander, Edgar, Roderick, Lawrence, and Stanley; sisters, Gladys Hayden and Alma Smith. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Shelburne. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Trinity United Church, Rev. Joanne McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Jordan Ferry Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jordan Ferry Union Cemetery or a charity of choice.
