Halifax, died August 19, 1995, at Camp Hill Medical Centre. Born at Blue Rocks, he was a son of the late Soloman and May (Knickle) Greek. He worked with The Halifax Herald Limited until retirement in 1984. He was an avid model boat builder. Surviving are his wife, the former Marilyn Tanner; daughter, Celeste (Mrs. Dereck Tower), Cole Harbour; son, Edgar, Halifax; sister, Lois (Mrs. Seaworth Croft), Blue Rocks; brother, Charles, Blue Rocks; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Terence. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, Halifax. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday in Edgewood United Church, Rev. John Tapscott officiating. Burial 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Edgewood United Church.
