Gordon Norman Rose 1995 Halifax Mail Star Published: Thursday, August 17, 1995. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Gordon Norman Rose, 48, Northwest, Lunenburg County, died August 15, 1995, in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born at Lunenburg, he was a son of Jesse Norman and Emily Harriett (Bond) Rose, Fauxburg. He was employed with National Sea Products limited, Lunenburg, in the freezer section as a forklift operator and was an executive board member of the CAW Union. He was a member of St. James Anglican C, Mahone Bay and a former member of Lunenburg Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are his wife, the former Yvonne Verna Langille; daughter, Michelle, Midville Branch; sons, Todd, Hemford; Paul, at home; sisters, Barbara (Mrs. Greg Gabriel), Bridgewater; Margaret (Mrs. Heber (Bubby) Tibbo), First South; Carolyn (Mrs. Alan Jensen) Fauxburg. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday in St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, Rev. Reg MacDonald officiating Burial in Northwest Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes Association or any charity.
