UNKNOWN PAPER - 13 MARCH 1956 ADA FORBES - Oliver - Our district and surrounding community was indeed shocked and saddened to hear of the car accident which caused the death of the late Ada FORBES, in Toronto, Ontario, on December 29, 1955. Ada Forbes, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathanial FORBES, was born in the Millbrook school district on February 1(?), 1902. It was there she received her Public and High School education later going to Boston, where she took a hair-dressing course and was employed until she went West with her sister Annie, and brother Eldon in 1925. She was employed by Bishop's and Marvel Beauty Parlors in Saskatoon, until she went to Ontario in 1934. At the time of her passing she was employed by the Anchor Cap Company in Toronto. Last July she visited her twin sister, Mrs. Robert DUNAN, at Lacadena, Saskatchewan, for two weeks. She will always be remembered by her kind and gentle manner and her willingness to help others in time of need. She leaves to mourn four sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Jennie JACKSON, Los Angeles, Mrs. Harold KEARNEY, R.N., Roslindale, Mass., Mrs. Bessie SWAN, R.N., Atlanta Georgia, Mrs. Robert DUNAN, Lacadena, Sask., George FORBES, Nelson, B.C., and Charles FORBES, Tatamagouche. Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
