Oressaa Viola Kaulback 1975 Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Oressa Viola Kaulback, 76, of 642 Hillside Avenue, Rumford, Maine, died Tuesday June 17, 1975, at Cozy Nest Nursing Home. She had been a patient there for six months. She spent her summers at Parkdale where they purchased the home schoohouse for a delightful summer home. Born at Parkdale August 24, 1898, she was a daughter of Tupper and Matilda (Rafuse) Rhodenizer; a family of 15; nine brothers and six sisters. Oressa was a member of the Rumford First Baptist Church, also the Philatre Club, and the Greater Rumford Citizens Club. She was married to Laurin Kaulback on June 20, 1920, who survives. Her immediate family includes six daughters: Mrs. Geneva Thierault, Mrs. Ruby Greenwood, of Derby, Vermont; Mrs. Madeline DuGuay, Mrs. gGadys Gilbert, Mrs. Phyllis Richard, Mrs. Ruth Gill, all of Rumford; a son, Laurin (Ted) of Rumford Centre; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Phillips of Ontario; Mrs. Florence Wright, East Dalhousie, Nova Scotia; Mrs. Daisy Fletcher, Hillsboro, New Brunswick; brothers, Perry of Weld; Colonel Leon of New Glasgow; and Milton of Parkdale; 27 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held on Friday from Mender and Son Funeral Home. Hymns were favourites," In The Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Tribute was paid to her life-long faithful service to her church and her family; Rev. Walter Wakeman officiating. Burial in the Demerritt, West Peru.
