Linwood Maxwell Feindel 1996 Halifax Chronicle Herald Linwood Maxwell (Max) Feindel, 75, New Germany, died November 9, 1996, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at New Germany, he was a son of the late Harris and Jen (Parnell) Feindel. He was a member of Epworth United Church, New Germany, and a member of the New Germany and Area Men's Choir. He served overseas during the Second World War as a sergeant in Princess Louise Fusiliers. He was a life member, past president, and chaplain of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 102, New Germany. He was a past member of the IOOF and past member of New Germany Volunteer Fire Department. He owned and operated a meat market in New Germany for many years. He later was a car salesman for Rafuse Equipment, until his retirement. Surviving are son, Linwood, New Germany; Thomas, Branch LaHave; six granddaughters; a great-grandson; brothers, Robert, Barss Corner; George, New Germany. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Evelyn Bell; son, Neil. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany. Funeral and Legion service 11 a.m. Tuesday in Epworth United Church, New Germany, Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating. Burial in Epworth United Cemetery.
