Z. Verna Sperry 1993 Bridgewater Bulletin Z. Verna Sperry passed away September 26, 1993, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Pinehurst, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ella (Conrad) Powers. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Eastside Ladies Group, Bridgewater Women's Institute, and the Lunenburg West P.C. Women's Association. She is survived by her husband, Harold L.; two daughters, Daryl (Mrs. Garry Lindberg), Ottawa; Gerry (Mrs. Art Timm), Saskatoon; two sons, Norman Stewart (fiancee Helen); Hector (Natalie) Stewart, Charlottetown; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was an aunt of many nieces and nephews and special aunt to Arnold Meisner (wife Peggy), Liverpool. She was predeceased by her first husband, G. Burnham Stewart; two daughters, Nancy Zinck and Phyllis Drysdale; four sisters and two brothers. Funeral service was held Tuesday, September 28, 1993, at 11:00 a.m., from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater.
