Lloyd W. Kaulback 1975 Bridgewater Bulletin Lloyd W. Kaulback, 60, 4 Roberts Road, Yarmouth, formerly of Rumford, husband of Vera McBrae Kaulback, died at a Portland hospital on January 14, 1975, after having been ill for some time. He was born April 5, 1914, at Maplewood, Nova Scotia, the youngest of seven sons of Zacharias E. and Honorah Wentzel Kaullback, residents of the same community. He served in the United States Navy in the Sea Bees during World War II. Mr. Kaulback was employed for ten years with the Oxford Paper Company, Rumford, and for 24 years by Hannaford brothers, Portland, where he held the position of retail operations, serving during the past four years as executive manager of Foodtown Stores. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Yarmouth, where he was a deacon and chairman of the finance committee. He was a past King Lion of the Yarmouth Lions Club and a member of Blazing Star Lodge, A.F. and A.M., Rumford. Surviving besides his widow are the following: two daughters, Carol Jean, Boston; and Brenda Gayle (Mrs. Ronald Lucas), Stafford Springs, Conn.; a sister, Goldie (Mrs. Morley Wentzell), Rumford; six brothers, Elmer, Cornwall, Nova Scotia; Laurin of Rumford and Parkdale; Theodore, Petite Riviere; Willis, Winnipeg; Frank, Rumford; Ormond, Middleton, Nova Scotia; one granddaughter, Shannon Gayle Lucas. Service was held at the Linquist Funeral Home, Yarmouth on Thursday, January 16. Interment was in the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico, Maine.
