    3. Ivy Margaret Meisner 1964 Bridgewater Bulletin Handwritten date: June 8, 1964. New Germany- Mrs. Ivy Margaret Meisner, wife of Cecil Meisner, passed away at the Dawson Memorial Hospital in Bridgewater after an illness of two months. Born at Chatham, New Brunswick, fifty-eight years ago, Mrs. Meisner was the daughter of the late Ross and Emma (Craig) Harding. For the past 27 years she has lived in New Germany. Surviving are her husband, Cecil; five sons, Ross of New Germany; Richard with the R.C.A.F., Montreal; Ralph, at the Vocational School, Halifax; George and Gordon (twins), of New Germany; one daughter, Jean predeceased her. Also surviving are three brothers, Max of Liverpool; Clarence of Vermont; Harold, in the Canadian West and several half-brothers and sisters. The funeral service was conducted from Epworth United Church with the Rev. John Powell officiating. Interment was in the Community Cemetery, New Germany. Pall bearers were Merlyn Wright, Laurie Hamm, Gordon Chesley, and Everette Barry. Hymns sung were "Rock of Ages" and "Lead, Kindly Light." Words of comfort were spoen by Rev. Powell to the bereaved family which helped to make the burden lighter. Mrs. Meisner will be missed by her family and friends in the community.
