Melbourne George Leary 1948 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Melbourne George Leary, Sr., occurred at his home at New Germany on February 5, after a period of ill health at the age of 73 years. He was a son of the late George and Destore (Petit) Leary and was born at New Germany, where he resided all his life. He is survived by his sorrowing wife, who was before her marriage Mary Mosssman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mossman; also three sons, Melbourne and Maxwell, of New Germany; and George, at home; two daughters, Alice, Mrs. Norman Weaver, Falkland Ridge; and Gladys, at home. There also survive __ grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the Anglican Church on Saturday afternoon and was conducted by the Rev. W.H. Chard. Interment was in the Anglican Cemetery.
