Mrs. Mary Eliza Leary 1968 Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Mary Eliza Leary, widow of Melbourne Leary, passed away at the D.M. Hospital on August 13th., after an illness of several weeks. She was 79 years of age. Born at New Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Joudrey) Mossman. She is survived by two daughters, Alice (Mrs. Norman Weaver), Falkland Ridge; and Gladys, at home; also three sons, Melbourne of Brantford, Ontario; Max and George of New Germany; also fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from Langille's Funeral Home on Friday afternoon with Rev. James Crooks officiating. Hymns sung were "Rock of Ages" and "Nearer, My God, to Thee." Interment was in the Anglican Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Hawkesworth, Bruce Woodworth, Carl Mosher, and Atwood Meisner.
