OBIT # 5592 - HALIFAX HERALD - 12 AUGUST 1992 MacDONALD, Alexander - 76, Boyd Street, Salisbury, N.B., died August 1, 1992, in Moncton Hospital. Born in Thorburn, Pictou County, he was a son of the late William A. and Matilda (MacDonald ) MacDonald. Retired from UIC as field manager, with over 25 years service. He was a member of Salisbury United Church; past master of Hudson Lodge, No. 77, F and AM, Thorburn; member of Kings Chapter, No. 21, Order of Eastern Star, Sussex, N.B. He is survived by his wife, the former Anne Seaboyer; two daughters, Kathleen (Mrs. Donald Moffatt), Moncton; Heather (Mrs. Philip Jones), Grande Digue, Kent, N.B.; three sons, Alan, Ottawa; Bruce, Quispamsis, N.B.; Colin, Salisbury; three sisters, Hazel (Mrs. Joseph Oggy), Toronto; Margaret (Mrs. Charles Pearmain), California; Violet (Mrs. Douglas Wood), Moncton; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Esther Wright; brother, Henry. The body is in Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Moncton, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in their chapel, Rev. Rob Metcalf officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester.
