Norman Bell 1912 Progress Enterprise Mosher's Island News December 4, 1912. The death occurred at LaHave Islands on Monday, of Norman Bell, a highly respected citizen, aged 40 years. The deceased had been ill for the past year or more and death was not unexpected. He leaves to mourn his loss, a widow and two children; also his mothers and two brothers, Robert and Walter. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Lund and assisted by Rev. McDonald. Empire lodge, I.O.O.F., of which the deceased was a member, marched to the cemetery. The large gathering of people present and the abundance of beautiful flowers, bespoke of the high esteem in which the deceased was held. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the whole community.
