Guy Bennett Oickle 1983 Halifax Chronicle Herald Handwritten date: January 30, 1983. Guy Bennett Oickle, of New Germany, died Sunday in Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Dalhousie, he was a son of the late Joshua and Melinda (Ramey) Oickle. He is survived by a son, Earle, Hlaifax; a sister, Flossie Lowe, Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Otis, West Dalhousie; Ettney, Long Island, New York; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret Gertrude Ettinger; a daughter, Frances Catherine, and one granddaughter. The body is in Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany. Fuenral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Saint John's in the Wilderness Anglican church, New Germany, Rev. Gordon Rigby officiating, with burial in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
