Born in Pictou Landing, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Catherine (Basque) Prosper. She was a resident of Pictou Landing most of her life and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pictou Landing. She is survived by her husband, James; two sons, Daniel, Fred, both of Pictou Landing; daughter, Sarah, Pictou Landing; two brothers, John, Levi, both of Pictou Landing; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by a son, Howard; daughter, Mary Agnes; five brothers, James, Ernest, Daniel, Joseph, Jacob; three sisters, Ella Nicholas, Alfreda, Susie Knockwood. The body is in the home of her daughter, visiting after 7 p.m. today. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rev. Bernard MacAdam officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery.
