Born at North East Harbour, Shelburne County, he was a son of the late Walter and Izella Scott. He was a member of St. Thomas Church, Shelburne. He served overseas during the Second World War in Belgium, Holland, and Germany. Surviving are wife, Margaret LeBlanc; brothers, Ralph, Toronto; Calvin, Hamilton; Ontario; Cecil, Burlington, Ontario; sister, Marjorie Scott, New Hampshire. Visitation 1-3, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Legion service 7 p.m., prayers 8 p.m., all in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Shelburne. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday, in St. Thomas Church, Shelburne, Rev. Pat O'Meara officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations to St. Thomas Church.
