Carroll Young 1965 Bridgewater Bulletin Springfield- Relatives here have received word that a former citizen, Carroll Young, 71, son of the late Elwood and Theodora (McNayr) Young, of Lake Pleasant, Annapolis County, died in Springfield, Massachusetts, October 2nd., after a period of failing health. Mr. Young had not visited his native land since he went to the United States fifty years ago, during all of which time he had been employed with his cousins, Young Brothers Limited, wholesale ladders, etc., of Springfield, Mass. He had never married. Surviving is one sister, Flossie (Mrs. Vernon Beals), in Inglisville. Mr. Young was predeceased by a sister, Miss May Young of Lake Pleasant; and by two brothers, Starr Young, Mount Rose and Vernon of Inglisville. For Mrs. Beals and the more distant relatives, sympathy is extended. Funeral services are being held in Springfield, Mass. (He is buried in the Baptist Cemetery, Springfield, Nova Scotia.)
