Mrs. Harold Wentzell Bridgewater Bulletin Relatives and friends were shocked and deeply saddened when it was learned that Mrs. Harold Wentzell, Midville Branch, died early Thursday afternoon, December 28th., at the age of 72 years, one month, and twenty-one days, at the D.M. Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Upper Branch, she was the former Florence L. Wentzell, a daughter of the late Joshua and Levinia (Hirtle) Wentzell. She is survived by her husband; a son, Percy, Auburndale; a grandson, Keith; a sister, Idella (Mrs. Gordon Cook), Cookville; also a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice (Mrs. St.Clair Crowell), Bridgewater and Jennie (Mrs. Cecil Mailman), New Elm. An active member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Midville Branch, she served as secretary of the church for fifteen years, as well as superintendent and secretary of the Sunday School and the Ladies Aid. She was also active in her community of Auburndale, serving in the Sunday School as well as the Sewing Circle. She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church Newcombville, for the past two years, where the funeral service was held on Saturday, December 30th, at 2 p.m., with Rev. J. Nunns officiating, with interment in the Brookside Cemetery at Bridgewater. Organist for the service was Mr. Clement Mailman and hymns sung were "The Lord's My Shepherd" and "Through All the Changing Scenes of Life." Pall bearers were Irvin Wentzell, Lawrence Wentzell, Ross Mailman, and Richard Wile.
