Wolfville Acadian - Thursday, 24 March 1960 - Page 4 Mrs. Emma Duncanson - Mrs. Emma A. Duncanson, 83, widow of Frank Duncanson, Wolfville, died suddenly at her residence Saturday evening. Born in Horton, she was the daughter of John and Sarah Davis Pineo. Mrs. Duncanson was a member of the Wolfville Baptist Church. Her husband deceased her in 1952. She is survived by fours sons, Fred, Massachusetts; Gordon and Allyne, at home, and Victor, Wolfville; three daughters, Gladys (Mrs. L. Fielding), Hantsport; Annie (Mrs. Russell Layton), Montreal, and Gertrude (Mrs. Leslie Walker), Florida; two sisters, Mrs. William Margeson, Sr., Kentville. And Mrs. Sterling Mitchell, Fall River, Halifax County, two brothers, Fred Pineo, Burlington, Hants County, and Edward Pineo, Berwick. Funeral service was held from H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Dr. H.C. Olsen officiated. Interment was in the family lot in Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville. Wolfville Acadian - Thursday, 19 July 1928 - Page 1 - Mrs. Fred Pineo - The death occurred here on Thursday, July 12, of Lena Beatrice, wife of Fred Pineo, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Smith, of White Rock. Deceased who was well known and highly esteemed, is survived by her husband, one daughter, Doris, and three sons, Guy, George and Charles. All at home, father and mother, one sister and four brothers, this being the first death to occur in the family of six. The funeral took place from the family residence here on Saturday last. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful."
