Thelma Leota Daniels 2009 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Wednesday, July 8, 2009. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Thelma Leota Daniels, 84, of Campbell River, British Columbia, formerly of North River, Lunenburg County, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009, in Campbell River. Born at Bloomington, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Crouse) Trask. Thelma enjoyed quilting, playing cards, and singing country music with family and friends. She is survived by daughters, Shirley Daniels, Campbell River; Joyce Douglas (Mike Blackburn), Lower Sackville; Florence (Sterling) Robar, North River; Dianne Carter, Campbell River; sons, Orlin and David, both of Toronto; sisters, Rosalene (Raymond) Young, Brooklyn, Annapolis County; Ruby (Bev) Carter, Saint John; Una (Everett) Veinot, Bloomington; brother, Lawrence (Lorraine) Trask, Annapolis Royal; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; son, Floyd and sister, Reta Cummings. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 9, in Middleton Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 10, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Nictaux Cemtery. A reception for family and friends will follow the interment in the Christian Family Centre, Nictaux. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
