Ozem St.Clair Nauss 2009 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, July 7, 2009. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Ozem St.Clair Nauss, 78, Middle New Cornwall, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2009, in the VG Site QEII, Halifax. He was born May 15, 1931, in Middle New Cornwall and was a son of the late Banford and Dorothy (Eisnor) Nauss. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Aulenback); daughters, Rose (Scott) Cullen; Judy (Kurt) Dominix, very special granddaughters, Natasha and Niketa Dominix, and Shelby Cullen, all of Middle New Cornwall. Also surviving are sisters, Hattie Nauss, Middle New Cornwall; Marion (Lawrence) Holman, Mahone Bay; Hope (Oswald) Faulkenham Myrtle (Cecil) Eisnor, all of Middle New Cornwall; Eva (Stephen) Schnare, Northwest; brother, Ronald (Sharon) Nauss, Middle New Cornwall; sister-in-law, Claudia Nauss, Lower Cornwall; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence and Russell. Ozem worked for many years for the Town of Mahone Bay as maintenance personnel. Prior to that he drove a truck for several years for Lawrence Veinotte Enterprises, Middle New Cornwall. His favourite pastimes were small engine repair, working in the woods, and spending time with his family. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, in New Cornwall Baptist Cemetery, Middle New Cornwall, Rev. Lawson Aulenback officiating. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Cornwall Baptist Cemetery or New Cornwall Fire Department. Arrangements entrusted to Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their care of Ozem. A special thank you to Sharon, Ronald, Krista Faulkenham, Kenny Fancy and all the family and friends for their help and support given to Ozem and family.
