Chronicle Herald - Thursday, 22 May 1986 - Page 36 - Guy Edward Pineo - Wolfville - Guy Edward Pineo, of Wolfville, died Wednesday in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in New Minas, he was a son of the late Frederick and Lena (Smith) Pineo. He was a resident of the Wolfville area most of his life, where he worked as a mason. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with Royal Canadian Artillery. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion branch #74, Wolfville, and of St. Francis of Assissi Roman Catholic Church Wolfville. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Malley; four sons, Frederick L., Cheverie; Gerald E., Coldbrook; Malcolm J., Wolfville; Eugene, Norfolk, Mass.; three daughters, Kathleen (Mrs. Ray Isnor) and Ruby (Mrs. Alwin Andrews), both of Greenwich; Roberta (Mrs. Christian Weir), Medfield, Mass.; a brother, Charles, In Massachusetts; a sister, Doris Pineo, Wolfville; 32 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Stuart; a brother, George; two grandsons. The body will be in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville, after 7 p.m. today, where a Legion service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis of Assissi Church. Wolfville, Rev. Michael Weagle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Donations may be made to any charity.
