William Albert Wentzell 1955 Bridgewater Bulletin The community of West Northfield and surrounding districts were greatly shocked on hearing of the sudden passing of one of its little folk, William Albert Wentzell, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wentzell, who passed away at New Germany on Friday afternoon, March 25th. He would have been five years old had he lived until April 2nd. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Barbara Ann. The funeral service was held on Monday afternoon from St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield, conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.L. Myra, who chose as his text, Mark 10: 13-16. The childrens' hymns that were sung were "Jesus Loves Me" and "There's A Friend for Little Children." The pall bearers were Messrs. Walter Feener, Roderick Feener, Rex Bruhm, and Lawrence Bruhm. Interment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. (William died while having dental work done.)
