Olive Marguerite Haughan 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Olive Marguerite Haughan, 93, Bridgewater, passed away September 2, 2001, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Seaforth and Lois (Silver) Publicover. She is survived by daughters, Joan (David) Chandler, Liverpool; Janet (Ron) Maddigan, Oakhill; grandchildren, Debra (Geoff Foulds), Kelly (Randolph Blair), Craig (Lesley), Michael (Beth), Paul (Dawn Ann), bradley, Steven (Becky); eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Max. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating, assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. A private burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. A reception will follow the memorial service in the church hall. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Family flowers only. In lieu, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
