Oswald Theodore Lohnes 1996 Halifax Chronicle Herald Oswald Theodore Lohnes, 87, Watford, died February 5, 1996, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Watford, he was a son of the late Currie A. and Louise C. (Fancey) Lohnes. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield. In his early years he was a woodsman and was a fish pedlar for over 40 years. Surviving are daughters, Marguerite Lyons, New Canada; Linda (Mrs. Charles Horstman), Bridgewater; sons, Paul, Watford; Beverley, Enfield; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith, New Germany. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Sadie Levy; son, Ira; grandson, Theodore; brothers, Otis, Percy, Arnold, Cecil. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield.
