Allen J. Mailman 1930 Progress Enterprise New Germany News July 30, 1930. The many friends of Allen J. Mailman, formerly of Springfield and lately of Framingham, Mass., were shocked to hear of his death recently due to a paralytic shock, following a short illness. Mr. Mailman was employed as a trainman by the Boston & Albany Railroad for many years. He was fifty-one years old and is survived by three children, his mother, brother, and sister in Worcester; two brothers in Maine and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Foard Feindel, of this place; two brothers-in-law, William and Hezekiah Feindel, also of New Germany. Mr. Mailman was well and favourably known in Lunenburg County where for many years he was engaged in the train service. His passing will be a distinct loss to his friends in this locality.
